Lecture Performance

In the short lecture performance Meet and Chase, the artist presents a “distance problems” set—a classical series of word problems in the Math Olympiad. During this lesson – taught by a mentally unstable math teacher -, the premises of the four math scenarios gradually merge with unresolvable reality issues. In the performance, the artist asks the audience to recite a “solve-all formula,” physically embody the distance problem, and live-edit the questions into unsolvable ones.
